Why you should vote in the European Elections on June 4th31 May 2009Low turnout in election could let in the BNP
65 years ago World War 2 ended with millions of people haveing paid the ultimate sacrifice to defeat Fascism and Racism. It is clear that the current relevations on MP's expenses has turned many people against politics. Many people will either use their vote in protest and not vote at all. On June 4th, there is a very real prospect of the BNP receiving enough votes to gain seats to represent their fascist, racsist, homophobic and xenophobic policies in Europe. If waking up next weekend to the possibility of being represented by the BNP fills you with dread ( and it ought to!) then you need to think seriously about voting on June 4th. It will be too late for regrets if you do not vote in the election when the BNP parade their new MEP's on the news. What you can do: Go to the HopeNotHate website to read about the BNP and why you should vote on June 4th to keep them out. http://www.hopenothate.org.uk/2009/BNP-threat-european-elections.php Go to the HopeNotHate merchandise page where you can download leaflets and posters free! http://www.hopenothate.org.uk/merchandise/ Go to the UNISON website to read what UNISON is doing and to download material to display and share http://www.unison.org.uk/stopthebnp/ Talk to your colleagues, friends and family about why they should vote on June 4th.
