Interim pay award to be paid in November

The National Joint Council (the body where unions and employers meet to discuss pay etc) has announced an interim pay award of 2.45% to be paid in November. The discussions between unions and employers will continue at ACAS ( in England Northern Ireland and Wales) whilst a separate negotiation continues in Scotland.

However, all Barnardos employees ( including those in Scotland) will receive the 2.45% interim award whilst discussions will take place between Barnardos and UNISON should the eventual Scottish settlement differ to the rest of the UK.
