UNISON representatives will need to have the following information when contacted * Your Name, Membership number, and workplace * How was notice of the suspension given ? * From what date is the suspension effective ? * What reasons were you given for the suspension ? * Has there been any hearing or investigations into the case * The name of anyone who has provided representation so far * Has any statement been requested or provided and if so is there any deadline for this. * Any material evidence you have if know the reasons you have been suspended. » more
I have been suspended and told by my employer that I must not contact my work colleagues or go to the workplace, can they do this ?
The purpose of the suspension is to allow an investigation to take place without any hinderance or interference. It is not unreasonable for your employer to instruct you not to contact your colleagues or go to the workplace. » more
